Jeffrey Place hosts City Hop and Block Party. You’re Invited! Saturday, June 16th, 2007

Columbus Landmarks is gearing up for its annual tour of downtown condominiums. And Jeffrey Place is proud to be a part. This Saturday, June 16th, from 10:00-6:00 Jeffrey Place will be participating in Columbus Landmarks’ City Hop. Jeffrey Place will offer three stops on the Italian Village tour, including the Courtyard Townhomes, the Jeffrey Place Loft 1 and a stop at the Sales Center where our North Block 1 (NB1) vignette is displayed along with displays about the many green technology features of NB1. Both parking and tickets are available at the Italian Village site and you can pick up the City Hop shuttle at any of the three Jeffrey Place locations. For more information regarding the City Hop visit http://www.columbuslandmarks.org/cityhop.

To finish out the day, Jeffrey Place is hosting a block party on Saturday, June 16, 2007 from 4:00- 8:00 at the end of 1st avenue outside of our sales center. Located at 350 E. 1st avenue, with a patio set up and great music, you can’t miss it! All of the friends of the Jeffrey Place community are invited to come down, hang out and check out our projects. Whether you are interested in the project, the neighborhood, know someone who is, or are simply curious, we hope to see you there!

The microbrewery the Elevator, located in the Short North, is providing beer for our block party and there will be delicious kebobs to consume. Live music tops the evening as you kick back and enjoy yourself. Enjoy the great weather, meet potential neighbors, and learn more about the Jeffrey Place community. Whether you are finishing off your day at City Hop or just starting out your night on the town, join us at Jeffrey Place for drinks, food and live music. This one’s on us.

Jeffrey Place prepares for paving of our first public street

Dscn0170

It's not too often that the City of Columbus gets new public streets added to its urban neighborhoods.

That's exactly what's happening (barring bad weather) as Jeffrey Place paves it's very first street later this week. Be sure to swing by during this year's annual CityHop to be one of the first folks in Columbus to drive, preferably walk of course, down the all new Neruda Avenue.

Neruda will run east to west connecting our Courtyard Townhomes and The Lofts at Jeffrey Place. In front of The Lofts, running north to south, will also be the first section of Waldron Street which will be connecting East First Avenue to the Jeffrey Place neighborhood.

The rest of the underground infrastructure and streets will continue to be constructed throughout the summer, with an anticipated completion of the entire north half of Jeffrey Place's streets to happen by the fall.
